SUMMARY:
The Regulatory and Trade Compliance Program Analyst supports the organization's regulatory and trade compliance programs by analyzing operational workflows, strengthening governance structures, and enhancing reporting capabilities. This role is essential in ensuring that processes align with global trade regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory requirements. The Program Analyst drives process standardization, facilitates ongoing compliance monitoring, and collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to reduce risk and improve the organization's overall compliance posture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regulatory & Trade Compliance Governance
  • Support governance activities related to regulatory and trade compliance standards across operational programs.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, process guidelines, and audit ready evidence to strengthen regulatory and trade compliance frameworks.
  • Contribute to risk identification, mitigation planning, and closure of compliance-related findings.

Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Analyze end to end programs, workflows, and procedures to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and root cause investigations to support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate existing regulatory tools and systems and support the design or adoption of new solutions that increase program efficiency.
  • Support program documentation efforts, including process maps, SOPs, workflows, requirements documents, and guidance materials.

Reporting & Data Insights

  • Build and enhance compliance dashboards, reports, and metrics to support program monitoring, trade governance, and leadership visibility.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of compliance data by performing validations, reconciliations, and quality checks.
  • Translate data into insights that inform compliance decisions, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Project & Initiative Support

  • Participate in cross functional projects related to regulatory compliance operations, system enhancements, and policy updates.
  • Support the implementation of new program initiatives, compliance controls, and process updates.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of compliance initiatives, audits, assessments, and regulatory responses.
  • Help prepare program materials, summaries, presentations, and updates for leadership and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Trade teams to support regulatory adherence.
  • Support training, documentation updates, and knowledge-sharing for regulatory and trade compliance procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, operations, or a related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in program analysis, process improvement, compliance, or operations.
  • Experience supporting regulatory programs, audits, governance frameworks, or operational compliance is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with analytical and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI).
  • Continuous improvement mindset, experience with methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar (preferred).
  • Ability to write, update, and maintain compliance policies and SOPs.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across operational, regulatory, and technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Capable of maintaining strong productivity in remote or hybrid environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 25 - 75% of the work shift.
  • Up to 10% travel to other sites.
