Our outpatient office environment encourages a culture of collaboration where therapists can engage in regular consultations and interdisciplinary meetings to support client care. Even though the role is remote, therapists are expected to visit veterans’ homes occasionally for on-site visits, ensuring that we provide comprehensive and empathetic support to our clients.

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to evaluate client conditions and measure suicide risk accurately, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, psychotherapy, and interviews, skillfully managing challenging scenarios, including difficult environments.
• Collaborate consistently with medical professionals and support staff to diagnose and manage complex psychiatric conditions.
• Draft and review clinical reports, develop supportive treatment plans, and provide expert consultation on intricate behavioral health cases.
• Continuously document patient care and monitor treatment progress while adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
• Utilize effective communication channels to make well-informed recommendations to care teams, ensuring that all parties engaged in a client’s care are aligned.
• Design treatment plans that comply with established guidelines and offer therapy, counseling, and educational services tailored to each individual's needs.
• Provide on-call crisis services and emergency consultations to address immediate client needs during working hours.
• Perform thorough evaluations considering a client's mental health status, history of substance use, and potential criminal background.

You will engage predominantly with mothers seeking mental health support and individuals impacted by socioeconomic challenges, ensuring that empathetic and culturally sensitive care is at the forefront of your practice. By addressing co-occurring mental health and substance dependency issues, you will be an integral part of enhancing community health.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
• An independent active license in your state, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, demonstrating your qualifications to practice in the mental health domain.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload, supporting various clients while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
• Strong commitment to impacting lives and advancing behavioral health strategies.
• Exceptional skills in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively.
• Sound proficiency in electronic communication, particularly email correspondence, combined with basic computer applications competency.
• A valid driver's license to facilitate necessary on-site visits.

• Experience in Mental Health Assessments, Community Outreach, Substance Abuse Counseling, or Welfare assistance is highly favored.
• Graduate-level education, such as a Master's or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD), from an accredited program.
• Familiarity with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders.
