Facility: Ascension St Vincent's - Offsite

Department: Total Quality Management

Schedule: Day | Hybrid| Full-time | 8am - 5pm

Salary: $84,060.91 - $118,668.99 per year

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our physicians and advanced practice providers, proactively connecting with them to clarify details and capture the full scope of patient care.

  • Conduct thorough admission reviews and collaborate directly with our coding experts to ensure assigned codes perfectly reflect the patient's real-time clinical status.

  • Work hand-in-hand with the broader healthcare team to resolve documentation queries and address gaps before the patient is discharged.

  • Serve as an ongoing subject matter expert, coaching and educating our clinical teams on documentation best practices, coding nuances, and quality improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain clear, accurate records of your review activities to validate the success and impact of our CDI initiatives, helping us continuously improve our processes.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Minimum 1 year of NICU experience.
  • CDI experience.
