Summary

 The CCTV Operator will be responsible for completing inspections of pipelines according to customer requirements and specs, operating, and maintaining CCTV equipment, operating the CCTV equipment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


The CCTV Operator duties include but are not limited to the following.

·         Operating and Maintaining CCTV Equipment

·         Complete CCTV inspections of various types of pipelines according to customer specifications.

·         Reporting/recording defects in pipeline found during inspection according to customer and program requirements

·         Operator must always be mindful of maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to the health and safety protocol always without exception.

·         Setting up and breaking down equipment, capturing videos, managing data, troubleshooting and maintenance.

·         Technical and manual skills are required for completing inspection jobs, including the use of various industry software programs and some manual labor.

·         Communicate with management on job completion, status updates, and record retention.

·         Reinstate sewer laterals.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/ or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Related industry experience in one of the following areas is strongly preferred:

·         Experience in CCVT and Commercial Underground Construction required.

·         NASSCO- Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) required.

·         Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP), and Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP) certifications are preferred.

·         Knowledge or experience with CUES- Granite Net, Granite XP, POSM, or IBAK/Panorama equipment (preferred).

·         Valid class C Driver License required. Commercial A or B license preferred.

Required Skills

·         Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and written skills with customers and employees. Excellent interpersonal skills.

·         Proficient with CCTV/Cutter equipment.

·         Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and accounts. 

·         Must be able to read, understand and locate manholes from a map

·         Individual must be accountable, professional, team oriented, and organized with the ability to work on multiple jobs/tasks at once.

The employee occasionally is required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, to walk up to ½ mile daily, and enter sewer maintenance holes. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision and distance vision.
