  • Set strategic direction: Develop and communicate a forward-looking vision for payments testing, identifying market opportunities, competitive trends, and innovative approaches that can expand the business.
  • Drive commercial growth: Partner with sales teams on enterprise opportunities, participate in client conversations, advise prospects on payments testing strategies and ROI, and contribute expertise to pipeline development.
  • Build strategic partnerships: Work with alliances teams and external technology, payments, commerce, and consulting partners to develop joint go-to-market opportunities.
  • Design technical solutions: Analyze complex digital transaction architectures and create tailored quality engineering strategies for mobile payments, wallets, payment gateways, online banking, POS systems, and emerging agentic payment environments.
  • Provide hands-on delivery expertise: Act as a senior subject-matter expert and escalation point, supporting engagements from initial scoping through test execution and delivery reviews.

  • Elevate client and delivery capabilities: Introduce new technical approaches, methodologies, and best practices to help delivery teams and enterprise clients improve their payments testing maturity.
  • Lead thought leadership: Represent the payments testing vision through white papers, articles, webinars, conference presentations, industry discussions, and other external communications.
  • Influence without direct authority: Inspire and coordinate distributed, cross-functional teams while building strong relationships with technical specialists, business leaders, clients, and partners.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of deep payments experience, with strong knowledge of digital payment ecosystems such as mobile payments, online banking, payment gateways, digital wallets, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong quality engineering expertise, including a technical understanding of API integrations, software development methodologies, and testing practices within financial or transaction-heavy environments.
  • Proven solution architecture and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex transaction flows, identify integration issues, and establish structured evaluation criteria.
  • Client-facing consulting or managed-services experience, ideally involving technical discovery, solution design, advisory work, and engagement with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Commercial and strategic acumen, including experience developing service offerings, understanding cost-to-serve considerations, and collaborating with sales, alliances, and partner organizations.
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with intellectual curiosity, creativity, adaptability, and a continuous-learning mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly through written, visual, and verbal formats to both engineering teams and senior business executives.

  • Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with payments innovation, emerging transaction technologies, or agentic payment systems is advantageous.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment and collaborating effectively across time zones.

  • Inclusive, purpose-driven culture with a strong emphasis on collaboration, diversity, and meaningful work.
  • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale payments and digital experiences with significant real-world impact.
  • Exposure to a global client portfolio, including complex technical challenges and high-impact payment environments.
  • Collaboration with distributed experts across technology, engineering, consulting, sales, delivery, and strategic partnerships.
