Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat to address mental health concerns and improve their overall well-being.
  • Facilitate discussions around emotions and life experiences that enable clients to gain insight into their behaviors and relationships.
  • Act as a dedicated client advocate, helping individuals to clearly define their therapy goals and strategies for achieving mental wellness.
  • Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement solution-focused approaches based on your clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists to share insights and improve therapeutic outcomes effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients consist of carefully screened adults who are generally stable and have low acuity mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, stress management, and other psychosocial matters. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in guiding these clients toward healthier coping mechanisms and enhanced emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification issued by a state board; provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to evaluate, make informed treatment decisions, and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities that facilitate trust, respect, and a supportive rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in using technology for virtual counseling sessions, including familiarity with online therapy platforms.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a clinical, community, or private practice setting.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, and various mental health issues.
