• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health status and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that align with their needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Work closely with fellow professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to provide holistic care and support the overall treatment goals of clients.
• Educate and empower clients' families, involving them in the therapeutic process and enhancing their understanding of mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case reviews, clinical supervision, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

The counselors at Healing Villa Counseling Center work with a diverse population of clients facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for a wide range of mental health disorders supported by specialized training or extensive clinical experience.
• Exceptional counselling and therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport, motivate clients, and facilitate positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills that promote teamwork and integrated client care.

• Prior experience in a mental health outpatient setting, preferably providing both individual and group therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques that enhance client engagement.
• Experience working with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence in therapeutic interactions.
