• Conduct comprehensive and culturally responsive mental health assessments to tailor treatment plans based on each patient’s unique life experiences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques based on cultural backgrounds and individual needs.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, demonstrating exceptional crisis management skills.
• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance and quality of care.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on advancements in mental health practices and cultural considerations to continuously improve professional skills.

Our practice focuses on delivering services to a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants facing unique mental health challenges. This role provides the opportunity to engage with diverse populations, offering culturally competent and inclusive support aimed at improving their overall mental health and resilience.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to practice independently.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, with a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competence.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive methods.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear ability to establish trusts and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and related technology for efficient case management.
• A deep commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.

• Experience working in a multicultural or diverse community setting, particularly with underserved populations.
• Prior experience in remote therapy or telehealth services, adapting therapeutic practices to virtual formats.
• Background in developing tailored treatment plans for complex cases and unique patient backgrounds.
