Project Management Specialist
The Opportunity:
Are you searching for a position where you can use your project management and analysis skills to develop a project from concept to completion? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources. With that level of complexity, you need to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the DoW. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts, project cost accounting, and support overall project cost, schedule, and performance efforts. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Office suite and regular interactions with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), clients, and project analysts.
You will provide project management support to government clients addressing the cost, schedule, and performance of new technology advancements, insertions, and capabilities as part of larger capability developments. This may involve support through the major capability lifecycle of development, procurement, deployment, implementation, and maintenance efforts. You'll maintain project spending plans, support budget submissions, create and manage stakeholder task letters, generate briefing materials, memorandums, and annual stakeholder agreements, and provide strategic support for classified material and services. You will coordinate with and brief functional Program Office and government SMEs to address project status, performance, risks, and mitigations in support of government clients.
The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you'll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in DoW project management
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Project, and Visio
  • Experience reviewing or developing project scope documents, reviewing project deliverables, and financials
  • Ability to generate informational briefs and projects for clients, addressing key issues and challenges impacting expected project results
  • Ability to deliver comprehensive programmatic support by providing oversight on project schedules, including coordinating client meetings, researching, and assigning and tracking tasks in accordance with project requirements
  • Ability to assist with Configuration Management tasks and documentation reviews
  • Ability to collect, edit, and format weekly highlights and milestones in a fast-paced, multi-layered program office and display flexibility, initiative, and innovation in ambiguous and fast-paced situations
  • TS/SCI clearance

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working in SAP and classified environments
  • Experience in developing or maintaining a project spend plan and stakeholder task letters
