• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify specific needs and recommend suitable interventions.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient, considering their developmental stages.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to effectively address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents and caregivers in the treatment process, promoting a nurturing home environment for recovery and growth.
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s mental health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention to support patients and families during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation according to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed about the latest research, treatment techniques, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will collaborate with both the young patients and their families, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment that is essential for effective treatment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
• Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach that prioritizes the well-being of children and their families.
• A proven ability to build trust and rapport with young clients and their caregivers.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of thriving in a multidisciplinary team environment.
