• Conduct comprehensive client assessments, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies to inform customized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, offering one-on-one, couples, and family counseling.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enable clients to set and achieve realistic mental health goals, fostering their personal development.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Regularly evaluate progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary, engaging clients in discussions about their treatment paths.
• Provide resources, referrals, and support services to clients, enhancing their access to comprehensive care.

Your work will focus on a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As an LMHC with Onward Healing Therapy, you will be encouraged to adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and personal needs of each client.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required for this position.
• Current active license as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in Vermont.
• Demonstrated experience working with a variety of populations, showcasing your ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that promote a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• At least two years of professional experience in a counseling role, ideally within a community health setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote counseling technologies.
• Proficiency in using digital client management software to maintain accurate client records and facilitate communication.

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000, reflective of your skills and experience.
