Job description

We're seeking a Regional Reliability Engineering Manager to help drive reliability excellence across lumber manufacturing operations in the Pacific Northwest and Alberta, Canada region. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with mill leaders, reliability teams, and regional leadership to improve equipment reliability, eliminate losses, optimize manufacturing processes, and build long-term operational capability.This position offers the opportunity to influence multiple manufacturing facilities, lead high-impact improvement initiatives, and help shape the future of reliability strategies across the region.

Success in this role will directly improve manufacturing reliability, increase production capacity, reduce downtime, strengthen technical capability, and help shape the future of reliability across our lumber operations.

Location: This is a remote, home-based position supporting lumber manufacturing operations across the Oregon, Washington, and Alberta, Canada. Candidates must reside within approximately three hours of one of our operating facilities in Cottage Grove, OR; Lebanon, OR; Longview, WA; Raymond, WA; Drayton Valley, AB; Grande Prairie, AB, or live near a major airport within the region to support regular travel to our manufacturing sites.

Travel: Up to 70%

  • Coach Reliability Managers and maintenance teams.

What You'll Bring..

  • 6 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, or industrial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical experience.

Strong understanding of: 

  • Reliability and maintenance strategies
  • Process engineering and constraint management
  • Root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience using SAP/CMMS systems, reliability data, and production metrics to drive decisions.

Preferred

  • Professional certifications such as PE, CMRP, CRE, CRL, Six Sigma, MLT/MLA, vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound, or RCA facilitation.
  • Experience leading reliability improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations.

What We Offer...

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $108,000 - $162,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Benefits: When you join our team, you and your dependents will be offered coverage under our comprehensive employee benefits plan, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution. Other benefit options are also available such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
