The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio delivers therapies designed to restore, support, and protect every heartbeat through advanced pacing, defibrillation, and remote monitoring solutions. Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) sales and customer service objectives. CRM seeks collaborative candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes, and systems by being accountable, having a voice and acting promptly.
This role supports the Omaha territory and requires candidates to reside within the assigned area and travel regularly to customer accounts. Clinical Specialists must be available to support urgent customer needs and participate in weekend, holiday, and occasional after-hours coverage as business needs require. A valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards are required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies by performing system checks/interrogations, supporting implants, troubleshooting issues, and applying knowledge gained through comprehensive CRM field training.

  • Coordinate operational support by ensuring accurate patient documentation, managing inventory and equipment resources, maintaining programmer software, and assisting with daily coverage logistics to meet customer and business needs.

  • Educate physicians, hospital staff, office personnel, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and solutions, while supporting the onboarding and development of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership and field partners to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the value of Medtronic CRM products and solutions.

  • Identify customer opportunities, support purchase order activities, monitor competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to help achieve sales objectives.

  • Maintain technical expertise by staying current on new CRM products, therapies, solutions, and patient management offerings to effectively support customers and clinical outcomes.

  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings, with frequent independent driving - approximate 80% of the time

  • Perform physical job requirements, including frequent two-handed lifting of up to 40 lbs., sitting, standing, and walking for 8+ hours per day, and regularly bending, stooping, squatting, and maintaining balance.

  • Work effectively in clinical environments with exposure to eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation, while wearing 7-9 lbs. of lead for extended periods, utilizing computers and mobile devices, and maintaining the vision capabilities necessary to support patient care and field-based responsibilities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 8 years OR Associate's Degree PLUS a minimum 6 years OR Bachelor's Degree PLUS a minimum 4 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or work experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science or computing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering

  • 4+ years in Cath lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic with cardiology knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm recognition, and EKG interpretation, with experience supporting cardiac device therapies.

  • Hands-on experience with cardiac device interrogation and basic programming, as well as active participation in EP Lab, Cath Lab, or Operating Room procedures involving cardiac device implants, mapping, and ablation therapies.

  • Expertise with Microsoft tools & other applications (i.e., SalesForce.com)

  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements

  • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):85000-115000
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
