Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through our secure Simple Practice platform. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial mental health assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of students.
• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, parents, and school professionals.
• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of sessions, treatments, and communications in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Participating in professional development activities, including weekly supervision sessions and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse population of children, teens, and young adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will play a critical role in creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions, ultimately leading them toward improved mental resilience and academic success.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid licensure in mental health counseling as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Strong skills in treatment planning and mental health counseling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a virtual setting.
• Comfort with technology and experience using telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

We encourage applicants to have at least two years of professional experience in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. Familiarity with the school system and experience in a remote therapeutic environment is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

At Baihealth Medical Therapy, we value our counselors and offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000. Our compensation structure fosters a generous fee split, and we provide:
