San Francisco Mental Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team full-time in a remote capacity. • Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team to collaboratively create comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure clients are achieving their mental health goals.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using various therapeutic modalities based on evidence-based practices.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand client needs and track progress.
• Develop personalized follow-up treatment plans, including specific therapeutic goals and interventions based on client needs.

You will be responsible for providing therapy to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing challenges due to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Our target population includes couples and families seeking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. By tailoring your approach to each individual or family’s unique circumstances, you will contribute significantly to their path toward recovery and well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A valid and active California LMFT license that is not under suspension or probation.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Extensive training and experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques are highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team setting to manage complex client needs.
• Proficiency in telehealth technology and virtual communication tools to support remote therapy sessions.
