What is a remote cannabis product tester?

Remote Cannabis Product Testers are individuals who evaluate cannabis products, such as edibles, flowers, vapes, or topicals, from their own location instead of a central facility or lab. Their primary job is to use and review these products, providing detailed feedback on aspects like potency, flavor, effects, and packaging. This feedback helps cannabis companies improve their offerings and ensure quality control. Testers must often follow strict legal guidelines and may be required to document their experiences thoroughly. The position typically requires testers to be of legal age and reside in areas where cannabis use is permitted.

What does a remote cannabis product tester do?

As a Remote Cannabis Product Tester, your main responsibility is to evaluate various cannabis products by following strict testing protocols provided by the company. Typically, you'll receive samples along with detailed instructions on usage, specific attributes to assess (such as flavor, aroma, potency, and effects), and safety guidelines. After testing, you'll document your findings through structured online forms or reports, sometimes participating in follow-up surveys or virtual meetings to discuss your feedback. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential, as your insights directly influence product development and quality assurance processes.
