Remote buyers, also called remote procurement managers, research supply vendors and purchase products for your employer. These products may be supplies needed to manufacture goods or to run daily operations, or they may be wholesale items that are resold at retail pricing. As a remote buyer, your responsibilities may include monitoring stock to ensure you replenish goods before the company runs out. You also negotiate with vendors to get the best pricing for the products you need and coordinate with the accounting department to pay the different vendors when the bills are due.
