Job description

Position Summary:
This position reports to the Director, Medicare Advantage Product Development & Strategy.
The Business Analyst - Medicare Advantage Product Development serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product management, operations, compliance, IT, and vendor partners to support the development, implementation, and optimization of Medicare Advantage products. This role analyzes business needs, documents requirements, supports regulatory compliance, and drives initiatives that improve member experience, operational efficiency, and product performance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience in Medicare Advantage, CMS regulations, healthcare operations, and health plan product lifecycle management.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, or related field.
Work Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in statistical analysis or data analysis.
  • 2+ years of Medicare Advantage or Government Programs experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Medicare Advantage product development.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part D and Star Ratings.
  • Experience with benefit configuration and product implementation.
  • Familiarity with claims, enrollment, provider, and member systems.
  • SQL proficiency for data analysis.
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Salary Range: Minimum 28.90/hour - Maximum 47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
