Job description

We are seeking a QA Analyst/Business Analyst (Hybrid Onsite) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing healthcare software partners in South Florida. This role does NOT offer sponsorship, it's NOT a consulting role, it's NOT fully remote, and we do NOT work with 3rd parties. This healthcare technology company is dedicated to improving care through innovative software solutions. Their AI-powered platform helps clinicians document faster, improve measurement accuracy, streamline workflows, and gain actionable insights that enhance patient outcomes.

We are looking for a quality-focused professional who enjoys both validating software and helping define what should be built. This role combines hands-on quality assurance responsibilities with business analysis activities. It's ideal for someone who thrives on bringing clarity, structure, and accountability to the software development process. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality while helping transform business needs into clear, testable requirements. You will work closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of reliable solutions used in real-world healthcare environments. You will be responsible for day-to-day quality assurance across a suite of web and mobile applications, while also supporting requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. You should have a strong attention to detail, enjoys investigating edge cases, and confidently bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. In addition to supporting regular development cycles, you will participate in scheduled evening deployments and occasional Saturday release activities.

Responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to quality and requirements management across a web-based dashboard and reporting platform, a cross-platform mobile application built using .NET MAUI, healthcare data integrations leveraging HL7 and FHIR standards, and connected systems and workflows supporting clinical operations.
  • Execute testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes across web and mobile applications.
  • Perform release validation activities, including support for scheduled evening and occasional weekend deployments.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Verify defect resolutions and confirm fixes address reported issues.
  • Create clear, detailed, and reproducible defect reports.
  • Collaborate with distributed QA resources to maintain consistent testing coverage across time zones.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve overall product quality.
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into detailed, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and development teams.
  • Help define, document, and refine internal processes and workflows.
  • Support backlog refinement and requirements clarification activities.
  • Ensure requirements remain clear, actionable, and measurable throughout development.
  • Consistently identify issues before they reach production environments.
  • Improve the clarity, completeness, and testability of product requirements.
  • Contribute to smooth and reliable software releases.
  • Strengthen documentation and operational processes.
  • Build productive relationships with technical teams, stakeholders, and QA partners.
  • Help create a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or a hybrid QA/BA role.
  • Experience creating test cases, executing manual testing, and documenting findings.
  • Ability to develop acceptance criteria and analyze ambiguous requirements.
  • Availability to participate in scheduled evening and occasional Saturday release activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within healthcare, health technology, or clinical software environments.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), HL7, and FHIR integrations.
  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and automation concepts.
  • Exposure to Agile development practices.
