As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and challenges specific to students.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each student’s unique situation.
• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and ensuring confidentiality of all patient information.
• Collaborating effectively with teachers, school officials, and other members of the mental health team to coordinate care and support for students.
• Participating in case consultations and peer reviews to continually refine treatment strategies and enhance care delivery.
• Providing psychoeducation and resources to students and their families, empowering them with information about mental health issues and available support mechanisms.
• Staying current with emerging research and treatment methodologies to ensure best practices guide your clinical work.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Your work will directly impact their academic performance and overall emotional well-being, making your role essential in creating a nurturing educational environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid and current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, with an emphasis on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and understandings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with students and families.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills to manage diverse clinical situations effectively.
• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and digital communication tools.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs or educational initiatives.
