Job description

Position Overview: This is a temporary, full-time contract position designed to provide coverage for a team member taking a leave of absence from October 31, 2026, through January 22, 2027. To ensure a smooth transition and thorough shadowing period, the target start date is October 5, 2026.

Schedule & Location:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with schedule flexibility).
  • On-Call/Weekends: None.
  • Location: Ideally reporting to the office located at 5414 Beaumont Center Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33634. However, there is flexibility to work out of surrounding regional offices/counties, and remote arrangements may be considered.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our Organizational Development & Learning team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing others through impactful curricula, learning paths, and learning experiences for colleagues across clinical and non-clinical settings. You will collaborate with facilitators and subject matter experts while taking full ownership of driving a seamless, high-quality user experience across our learning management system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) database.
  • Manage the technical administration, publishing of content, and the proactive research, resolution, and escalation of system issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional LMS projects and analyze system requirements to support learning processes, group creation, and targeted assignments.
  • Oversee organization-wide employee learning paths to ensure unique learning needs and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
  • Generate and support robust LMS reporting on training activities to maximize system effectiveness and streamline compliance and audit requirements.
  • Design reliable LMS solutions for business processes, consult with department leaders, and provide best practices for leveraging the platform.
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure the successful deployment of courseware and appropriate functionality for all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the HRIS administrator and IT teams to integrate the LMS with existing systems and emerging technologies (including Workday integration).
  • Establish and uphold standards for LMS construction, ensuring consistency, alignment with organizational design, and uniform language and style.
  • Stay current on educational technology trends, platforms, and techniques to train team members and end-users.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Platform Expertise: Prior hands-on administrative experience utilizing LearnUpon and Workday platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret system instructions, write clear reports, and draft business correspondence.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, volunteers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ability to independently solve practical problems while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Superb troubleshooting skills, tenacious problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a rapid learning curve.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work assignments.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience utilizing an LMS to successfully implement training programs.
  • Strong analytical background with proven experience using data to report results and influence decision-making.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; OR
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
