What is a Remote Building Code Consultant?

A Remote Building Code Consultant is a professional who provides expertise on building codes and regulations, typically working from a remote location rather than on-site. They assist architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners in ensuring that construction projects comply with local, state, and national building codes. Their responsibilities include reviewing plans, offering guidance, and helping to resolve code compliance issues, often through digital communication and document sharing. This role is essential for projects that require specialized knowledge of building standards without the need for in-person consultations.

How do Remote Building Code Consultants typically collaborate with architects and project teams during the design phase?

Remote Building Code Consultants often work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers by participating in virtual meetings, reviewing digital construction documents, and providing detailed code compliance reports.
