The work setting is primarily remote, allowing for flexible engagement with clients while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality care. As a licensed clinical social worker, you will be able to connect with students using teletherapy platforms, ensuring that even remote sessions are effective and supportive. This role encourages collaboration with educational staff, parents, and community resources, making teamwork a critical aspect of your daily responsibilities.

• Assess and evaluate students through interviews to understand their individual needs, strengths, and areas requiring support.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans and support packages that address specific challenges faced by clients, including behavioral issues, emotional difficulties, and dependency concerns.
• Monitor and analyze client progress, regularly adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and goals.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, equipping students with tools and strategies to navigate their personal challenges effectively.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of case notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and school counselors, to address the overall well-being of students.
• Refer clients to relevant community services and resources for additional support in recovery.
• Participate in case conferences, providing insights and evidence as necessary, and advocate for the needs of your clients.

The primary focus of this position is to support students facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, social challenges, and trauma. Your work will directly impact the students' academic performance and overall emotional health. By establishing trusting relationships and providing a safe space for expression, you will empower young individuals to overcome obstacles.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field is required; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a clinical or school setting, working with children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of social theories and practices relevant to the field of mental health.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse groups of students and families.

• Experience in providing therapeutic services in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution are a plus.
• Background in substance abuse counseling or trauma-informed care is beneficial.
