Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of students experiencing mental health challenges and formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their educational and personal goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to the unique needs of young people.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal requirements, ensuring all documentation is completed timely for review.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings with educators, counselors, and school administration to ensure coordinated care and support for students.
• Provide educational resources and workshops for parents and caregivers, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest innovations in mental health treatment and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse group of students ranging from elementary to high school ages, each bringing unique backgrounds, challenges, and aspirations. Your understanding of various cultural dynamics and educational settings will empower you to effectively cater to their mental health needs, ultimately contributing to a nurturing academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused therapies and interventions appropriate for children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with students, families, and educational staff.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, specifically working with children and adolescents.
• Practical experience in school-based mental health services is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
