To excel as a Remote BSN, you need a BSN degree, RN licensure, and strong clinical judgment, combined with experience in telehealth or remote patient care. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and virtual communication tools is typically required. What is a remote BSN?

A remote BSN nurse is a registered nurse who has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and works from a location outside of a traditional healthcare facility, often from home. These nurses may provide telehealth services, patient education, case management, or support for healthcare providers and patients via phone, video calls, or online platforms. Remote BSN nurses use technology to monitor patient health, offer guidance, and coordinate care, making healthcare more accessible and flexible.
