Kitsch LLC

Job description

About Us

KITSCH is proud to be recognized as a self-financed, female-owned global accessory brand built on positivity and pure hard work. Established in 2010, with a business plan no longer than a paragraph, Kitsch has grown from door to door sales to selling products in over 27 countries across 20,000 retail locations worldwide.

We believe that everyone should feel confident when purchasing our products no matter your hair type, style or budget.

About the Role:

KITSCH is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is always on social, thinks natively in content, and can move fast without losing the brand's point of view. You will be the daily voice of KITSCH across social platforms, responsible for organic content creation, community presence, and helping shape how the brand shows up in culture. Candidates should be confident on camera, deeply fluent in short-form video, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

Content & Channel
  • Own day-to-day content creation and publishing across TikTok and Instagram. TikTok is the primary creative focus — you are ideating, shooting, and editing original content for the platform regularly.
  • Appear on camera regularly. Comfortable leading videos, voiceovers, GRWM-style content, and real-time coverage.
  • Develop and execute a content calendar that reflects the brand's tone: warm, accessible, and beauty-first.
  • Identify ongoing social-first content series that are brand-aligned but drive entertainment value for our audience.
  • Capture and edit short-form video content. Comfortable working with trending audio, transitions, and formats.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team to translate campaign concepts into social-native executions.
  • Identify and flag opportunities for real-time content or reactive moments. Stay ahead of trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.

Community & Culture
  • Own and grow KITSCH's community presence across Instagram, TikTok, and any relevant emerging platforms.
  • Develop a content strategy that keeps followers engaged, informed, and close to the brand.
  • Monitor and engage with the KITSCH community across platforms with a warm, on-brand voice.
  • Track and report on community performance metrics. Use data to inform what's working and what's not.

Core Competencies and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years managing social for a consumer brand, beauty brand, or similar — or you are a full-time content creator with a track record of building and engaging an audience.
  • Deeply fluent in TikTok. You know what's trending before it trends, and you understand what makes content stop a scroll.
  • Confident and natural on camera. You don't need a lot of direction to show up well.
  • Strong aesthetic eye. You understand the KITSCH world: fun, accessible, beauty-first, and community-driven.
  • Scrappy and resourceful. You can create compelling content with a phone and good instincts.
  • You write well. Short-form captions, community replies, and brief copy are a strength.
  • Flexible and calm under pressure. Launches, last-minute pivots, and fast-moving schedules don't rattle you.
  • Comfortable with flexible hours. Social media doesn't keep office hours.
  • Self-directed. You don't need hand-holding to execute, but you communicate proactively.
  • Background in beauty, personal care, or lifestyle is strongly preferred.
  • Our Values
    • 💡Intuitive – Proactive Problem Solver: We’re proactive, not reactive. When something doesn’t feel right, we pause, speak up, and fix it with honesty and integrity.
    • 🎯 Takes Pride in Our Work – Accountability: We own our work with pride. On-time delivery, thoughtful processes, and team-wide trust lead to great outcomes.
    • 🧹 Willingness to Sweep the Floors – Humble and Inclusive: We lead with humility and support. No task is too small, and no voice too quiet. Everyone belongs.
  • A dynamic team
  • An open mind for new ideas
  • Growth… growth and some more growth!
  • Location: Remote
