Position Overview

Bright Mind Intervention Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This role allows you to work remotely, providing essential mental health services to clients at their convenience. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the comfort and flexibility of working from home or any location with reliable internet access. You will join a supportive virtual team environment that emphasizes professional development and regular supervision. Utilizing secure teletherapy platforms, you will be equipped with the necessary tools to efficiently engage with clients and deliver care effectively from any location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video chat, focusing on enhancing their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Facilitate open discussions about clients’ emotions and life experiences, helping them gain valuable insights into their behaviors and relationships.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining achievable goals and supporting them throughout their therapeutic journey.
  • Assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans informed by solution-based methodologies and your professional expertise.
  • Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation regarding each session, aligning with our clinic's quality standards and policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus on a diverse client population that is characterized by low acuity needs. All clients are carefully prescreened, ensuring they are stable and ready to engage in therapeutic practices. This structure allows you to work within a framework that emphasizes relationship building and effective outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to practice independently and manage a caseload effectively without supervision.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic disposition towards clients.
  • Proficient computer literacy to facilitate seamless virtual counseling sessions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a remote setting or familiarity with teletherapy best practices.
  • Previous exposure to low acuity client populations.
  • Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
Compensation and Benefits
