ROLE
We are a growth company whose mission is to empower federal government agencies with highly skilled professionals across positions in IT, Legal, HR, Finance, and a variety of other disciplines. We need a Content Strategist who will be responsible for developing and implementing content that drives business development and marketing efforts. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities, and creating high-quality content to support business development initiatives, including writing proposals and RFI responses. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling content for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Write proposals and RFI responses that are tailored to customer needs and requirements
  • Coordinate proposal efforts including team collaboration, timeline management, and ensuring compliance
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends
  • Create content for business development campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and website content
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing collateral, such as brochures, case studies, and white papers
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of efforts
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in content marketing and proposal development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with business strategies and goals
  • Provide support for business events and activities, such as trade shows, conferences, and client meetings
  • Provide other duties as assigned including, but not limited to:
    • Marketing
    • Business development and capture support
    • Project Management Office (PMO) support
    • Task order management

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive content decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of AI tools for both research and content development
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building
  • Proficient in MS Word, Sharepoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with developing graphics / images
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with other writers, proposal staff, and technical / operations staff

EXPERIENCE
  • 3 years of experience in business development, content strategy, content marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies to support business development goals

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or other relevant fields

COMPENSATION
  • Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000
