The Role

As Manager, Global Brand Communications - Social Media for HOKA, you will bring the HOKA brand and voice to life across all social media platforms. You'll shape HOKA's presence and influence, planning, executing, and optimizing global social media efforts with a focus on brand storytelling, cultural relevance, platform-native content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll lead campaign planning from ideation to launch, guide platform strategy, oversee content calendars, and manage projects end-to-end. You'll bridge brand, product, and lifestyle campaigns, manage and develop a small team, and collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, data-driven social content.

Your Impact

  • Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive social media strategies to drive brand engagement and achieve business objectives
  • Directly manage agency and vendor relationships, setting objectives and managing performance in line with brand goals
  • Lead development of insight-driven content briefs to guide internal teams and agency partners
  • Oversee social copy development for consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to inform content strategies based on data insights
  • Manage creative asset development process from concept to completion with social agencies
  • Measure and optimize social media campaigns, conducting regular performance reviews with agencies
  • Translate data into actionable insights to refine content strategy and maximize brand impact
  • Provide thought leadership on cultural trends and audience engagement
  • Lead a team of social marketers, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of projects
  • Identify industry insights and trends to define and refine channel approach

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing, ideally at a consumer and/or lifestyle brand
  • Proven track record of growing large-scale social communities and leading culturally resonant brand storytelling
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively
  • Passionate about the future of social media, cultural trends, and shifting audience behaviors
  • Not just following trends - you want to create them
  • Deep understanding of social-first trends and platform nuances
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and a driven self-starter
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills
  • Proven success in process, project, budget, and team management
  • Experience working effectively in complex global organizations with diverse constituents and competing priorities
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Expert in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using Dash Social or other social media management platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of Adobe is a plus
  • Experience in social media copywriting
  • Passion and interest in footwear and/or an active lifestyle is a plus
  • Fearlessly problem solve and provide solutions
  • Ability to prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, agencies, and other employees
  • Use independent judgment while navigating strict deadlines without compromising work quality

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in Goleta, CA. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
