Job description

OVERVIEW

The Brand Protection Specialist for Investigations & Operations supports global brand protection efforts by coordinating offline counterfeit investigations, managing test buy operations, and maintaining accurate case tracking systems. This role partners with investigators, enforcement agencies (including Customs and local law enforcement), vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure enforcement activities are organized, actionable, and aligned with strategic priorities.

Ideal candidates bring experience in investigations, legal or compliance operations, enforcement coordination, and vendor management. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This position offers exposure to global enforcement programs and collaboration across legal and brand teams, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful enforcement actions.

This role is primarily remote, with periodic travel to the Los Angeles area for in-person collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate offline enforcement efforts, including global test buy operations
  • Partner with investigators and enforcement agencies to ensure timely execution and documentation of investigations
  • Conduct research to support case development and identify leads for escalation
  • Maintain case management systems, tracking investigation status, enforcement actions, and outcomes
  • Prepare case summaries, investigation reports, and data logs
  • Collaborate with online enforcement teams to develop actionable offline investigations
  • Work with legal and compliance partners to improve processes, strengthen enforcement coordination, and support escalation strategies
  • Assist with onboarding investigators and communicating program expectations
  • Identify and implement improvements to investigation and enforcement workflows

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in brand protection, investigations, legal operations, compliance, or enforcement support
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations and vendors
  • Familiarity with counterfeit activity and brand abuse across physical and digital channels
  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgment in escalating case information
  • Experience maintaining tracking systems (e.g. Excel, case management platforms)
  • Experience supporting field investigations, test buys, and vendor coordination
  • Background working with investigative and law enforcement partners on domestic and cross-border enforcement matters
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and compliance processes

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including performance bonuses, long-term incentives, PTO, and other company-sponsored programs.
