Meaningful Work From Day One

As the Sr. Brand Manager of Jack Daniel's Ready-to-Drink (RTDs) portfolio, you will lead the U.S. marketing strategy and execution across the portfolio in one of the spirits industry's most exciting and fastest-growing categories. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Brown-Forman's RTD portfolio. Effective leadership and consumer insight will be crucial to developing and executing the brand strategy to deliver business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.

What You Can Expect

  • Jack Daniel's Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Brands: Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD portfolio, Jack Daniel's Lemonade portfolio, Jack Daniel's & Ginger, Jack Daniel's Country Cocktail, and future RTD innovation.

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual strategic marketing plan that aligns with long-term brand strategies. Accountable for crafting, presenting & implementing the Annual Business Plan.

  • Manage brand budgets and P&L effectively, holding accountability for achieving business results.

  • Lead development of briefs and manage the agency of record from diagnostics to strategy development to execution and evaluation. Oversee the agency relationship and identify opportunities for advancements.

  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.

  • Manage and champion innovation and new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market, while building a long-term strategy around portfolio management.

  • Lead and develop a direct report (Associate Brand Manager) to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.

  • Manage relationships with key partners to achieve specific business objectives.

  • Lead strategic planning & oversight of paid & owned media:

    • Responsible for crafting the strategic communication plan with the broader team and agency partners

    • Lead all paid and owned media channels to support annual communication and business goals, including lead role on comms brief development; remit includes paid media, influencer, eCommerce, email/CRM, social & website

    • Lead the adaptation, creation, and oversight of creative advertising and content strategies to ensure the right content is on the right platform, for the right consumer, and at the right time, including owned and eCommerce properties.

    • Manage investment performance, measurement, and annual brand learning agendas to ensure alignment with communications goals and drive accountability for paid & owned media investments.

We Are Looking For People Who

  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of marketing and brand-building success in the spirits, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries, including experience in team and brand management, consumer insights, and new product development.

  • Strategic Leadership and Innovation: Ability to develop and implement long-term brand strategies while identifying market opportunities for new product development.

  • Team Management and Leadership: Capability to build, lead, and mentor teams, inspiring them to achieve common goals. Effective management of agency partners to deliver on strategic objectives is essential.

  • Financial Planning and Management: Advanced budget management skills, P&L accountability, and revenue management to drive business performance and forecast accurately.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams across sales, finance, operations, and R&D to ensure cohesive brand strategies.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including some weekends.

Working Arrangement

In-office at the Brown-Forman Louisville, Kentucky Corporate Headquarters Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
