Metro West Behavioral Health is urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address patient needs, incorporating elements of crisis management and risk assessment.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, ensuring that clinical documentation aligns with regulatory standards and is completed promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to craft effective positive behavior support plans and engage in the ongoing refinement of treatment protocols.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation activities to promote compliance and uphold the integrity of our mental health services.
• Act as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and other service systems, facilitating access to comprehensive care and resources for clients.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to support our mission of community wellness and effective service delivery.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to enhance program visibility and explore funding opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and community engagement efforts to enhance your expertise.
• Embody and promote the core values and principles of Metro West Behavioral Health in all interactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to organizational success and patient care excellence.

Your work will impact a diverse population, including individuals facing emotional difficulties, substance use disorders, developmental challenges, and recovery from brain injuries. To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field and possess an independent LMHC license. Your academic background should complement your practical knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices.

While a strong foundation in mental health counseling is essential, candidates with prior experience in collaborative treatment environments or roles involving crisis intervention, community outreach, or program development will be preferred. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation tools is also beneficial.

Metro West Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous starting salary, our benefits package includes:
