About the Role micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire experienced journalists, editors, and writers from top publications. This is hands-on editorial work: evaluating AI-generated writing for clarity, accuracy, structure, and style at the standard of a professional newsroom, and creating reference work that sets the bar.


Scope of Work

  1. Evaluate AI-generated writing for quality, accuracy, tone, and structure
  2. Write and edit reference pieces that define excellent output
  3. Provide detailed editorial feedback and rewrites
  4. Help shape writing standards for AI systems


Preferred Qualifications

  1. At least one year of experience as an editor, writer, or journalist at a reputable publication (WSJ, NYT, Reuters, or comparable), with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years
  2. Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university
  3. Based in an English-speaking country
