Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Utilize various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood and relational issues.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy self-care techniques.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, addressing stigmas related to mental illness, and ensuring appropriate resources are accessible.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will focus primarily on clients seeking assistance with relationship issues, including divorce dynamics. Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
