Our center prioritizes confidentiality and integrates mental health services into our broader healthcare offerings to address various social issues impacting the community. We accept multiple insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare, ensuring that our services are accessible to a diverse patient population.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, providing flexibility while ensuring that you remain an integral part of our outpatient office healthcare team. You will collaborate with primary care practitioners and other specialists to form a comprehensive care network catering to each patient's needs. Our supportive work culture encourages continuous learning and professional development, enabling you to thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient intakes to evaluate mental health status, formulate diagnostic and functional assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the primary care team.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions through evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic methodologies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patients' progress, maintain detailed and accurate treatment records, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in crisis management, developing prevention strategies that facilitate patient stability and continuity of care while preventing the worsening of mental health conditions.
  • Facilitate referrals for patients requiring specialized mental health services, ensuring they receive appropriate care while maintaining direct communication with primary care providers.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, encouraging patient engagement and adherence to their care protocols.
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery, drive outcomes evaluation, and advance behavioral health practices within the clinic.
  • Provide educational resources and skills development activities that empower patients to take charge of their mental health and recovery journey.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards, maintaining the dignity and respect of all patients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals from various backgrounds seeking support for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing for a rich and fulfilling practice that greatly impacts the community's overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Masterโ€™s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field.
  • A current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license to practice in Arizona.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health assessment tools, treatment planning strategies, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to assess patient needs and tailor interventions accordingly, supporting their journey towards mental wellness.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in outpatient mental health practice within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is highly regarded.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, facilitating effective communication with a wider patient demographic.
  • A strong background in evidence-based practices and community resources available for mental health support.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Beyond competitive salaries, we offer a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible working arrangements that prioritize work-life balance. You will also have access to professional development resources and training.
