Anchor Counseling & Education Solutions, LLC is a trusted and highly rated provider of special education related services for K-12 schools throughout California. We are urgently seeking a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team! You will provide Speech-language services and evaluations for students enrolled in K-12 educational settings in group or individual settings.

We are looking for a collaborative and experienced CA credentialed speech-language pathologist to join our growing team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and multi-disciplinary consultation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school

• Have a current CA license or be qualified for CA license as a Speech-Language Pathologist

• Have two years of related experience, preferably with K-12 school aged children

• Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in the area of speech-language pathology

• Demonstrate effective communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

• Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population

• Have a track record of being a team player

• Be committed to their own learning

• Have excellent time management skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently

• Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to students’ IEPs / 504 plans

• Conduct assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills

• Develop treatment plans (IEPs / 504 plans) that are strength-based as well as child and family centered for overall educational improvement

• Ensure evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines

• Assist and guiding teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders

• Maintain appropriate, confidential, records and submitting reports in a timely manner

• Keeping abreast of best practices in speech and language therapy and language development

• Minimum 15-20 hours per week availability
