Working with Thrive & Bloom Counseling involves a collaborative and supportive team dynamic. As a licensed professional counselor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while engaging with clients primarily through remote communication, although occasional in-office meetings may be required. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with mood disorders, anxiety issues, trauma-related conditions, and addiction recovery. Your ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds is essential in fostering trusted therapeutic relationships that contribute to positive treatment outcomes.

• A valid LPC license in the state of Virginia.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting therapy sessions within a mental health context.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices relevant to mental health treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connections with clients and team members.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Experience working with a varied client population, including those with complex mental health issues.

• Previous involvement in integrated care settings collaborating with other mental health professionals.
