Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based counseling, psychotherapy, and case management services, tailored to meet client needs.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in partnership with them, ensuring achievable goals are set.
• Act as an advocate for clients, connecting them to critical resources such as financial aid, housing, and additional social services to enhance their quality of life.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients facing acute mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation, substance abuse issues, or severe trauma responses.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental health issues.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of case records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA and relevant regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and receive mentorship to support both clinical skill growth and personal development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse client base consisting of students and their families, focusing on various mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-informed care. You will play a crucial role in addressing the unique challenges faced by youth and their families and provide them with tools and strategies to thrive emotionally and socially.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid Georgia LCSW license and the ability to practice independently.
• A genuine, compassionate approach to client care that emphasizes cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.
• Demonstrated ability to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, showcasing a commitment to holistic, client-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
