The Sail Future Psychiatry Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work-life integration while maintaining a focus on excellence in client care. Our outpatient office setting enhances collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, providing continuous professional development opportunities to all staff. The full-time work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced workload and enough time to focus on the needs of your clients.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Create personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique requirements and aspirations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques based on individual client needs.
• Provide education and encouragement to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to offer integrated care.
• Stay informed on the latest research related to mood disorders to refine and enhance treatment protocols.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development sessions.
• Advocate for clients to address mental health stigma, ensuring their voices and needs are prioritized in care.

You will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your compassionate approach will provide essential support to individuals from various backgrounds, including marginalized groups such as refugees and survivors of domestic violence. Understanding and empathy are critical, as the clients often rely on you to build trust and confidence in their therapeutic journey.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting relationship with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' lived experiences.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills to manage caseloads effectively and handle administrative responsibilities.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
