Talent Consultant - Biotech & Life Sciences Recruiting (Embedded RPO / Talent Acquisition Consultant)
Position Overview
Ignite Human Capital is seeking an experienced Talent Consultant to support a high-growth biotechnology organization through an embedded Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Talent Advisory engagement. This consultant will serve as a strategic recruiting partner responsible for identifying, attracting, and delivering exceptional talent across drug development, clinical operations, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, quality, commercial operations, legal, finance, and corporate functions.
The ideal consultant brings experience recruiting within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, CROs, or healthcare organizations and possesses the ability to partner directly with scientific and business leaders to drive workforce growth during critical stages of clinical development and commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with executive leadership, functional leaders, and hiring managers to develop workforce plans and hiring strategies.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines across scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and corporate functions.
  • Conduct candidate assessments evaluating technical expertise, leadership capability, industry knowledge, and organizational fit.
  • Perform market mapping and competitive intelligence within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors.
  • Source passive candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, scientific networks, conferences, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Advise hiring leaders regarding compensation trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring practices.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain exceptional candidate experiences.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns.
  • Maintain recruiting activity and reporting within ATS and CRM systems.
  • Deliver recruiting analytics, hiring forecasts, and executive-level progress updates.
