Job description


KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Healthcare / Oncology Senior Data Analyst based in Tampa Florida, with the option to work fully remotely.

Position Overview
The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in the execution of data-related Statements of Work (SOWs) within the companies' Life Sciences team. This role is focused on hands-on data wrangling, quality assurance, and the development of backend data pipelines and outputs that support high-impact oncology analytics projects. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL and data visualization, experienced with healthcare data, and capable of supporting cross-functional projects through strong technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Execute project-specific deliverables outlined in client SOWs, including:
* Cohort creation and treatment journey mapping
* NGS utilization and biomarker analysis
* Real-world evidence studies
* Reporting for payor adherence and education initiatives
* Lead feasibility analyses to support business development needs
* Build and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data tables to support internal and client-facing analytics
* Develop and refine Power BI dashboards and R/Python-based outputs to support both ad hoc requests and standardized reporting
* Conduct thorough data validation and QA checks to ensure delivery of accurate, clean, and reliable datasets
* Collaborate with engineering and data operations teams to support and enhance back-end data pipelines
* Contribute to schema development and data model design to ensure data delivery infrastructure scales with client needs
* Document and track completion of assigned tasks and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field
* Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/statistical language (R or Python)
* Experience working with relational databases and managing large-scale datasets
* Ability to design and QA data tables, visualizations, and output files for real-world use
* Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-first environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with healthcare data, especially oncology, EHR, or claims
* Knowledge of the Azure environment or cloud data infrastructure
* Exposure to NGS data, biomarker testing, or real-world evidence generation
* Understanding of data pipeline components (ETL, data modeling, QA frameworks)



Compensation depends on experience but is typically $55-65/hr.
