Job description

One Degree Advisors is growing and looking for a Lead Financial Advisor who loves working with clients, building trusted relationships, and working as part of a collaborative advisory team.


The main responsibility of this position is to lead client relationships.


Essential Functions:

Wealth Advising

  • Conduct client meetings, including ongoing strategy meetings and new client onboarding
  • Oversee Financial Plan development, updates and presentation
  • Conduct Investment Advisory discussions with clients
  • Hold client discussions focused on personal and family objectives and vision
  • Serve as primary advisory contact for client correspondence.
  • Coordinate research, meeting preps & follow-up, and plan development with Advisory team
  • Lead planning projects for clients relating to tax, estate, insurance, and employee benefits
  • Contribute to the development of associate advisors
  • Stay updated and educated on relevant technology resources
  • Investmentportfolio construction
  • Basic investment trading

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (CFA or CPA also considered)
  • Certified Kingdom Advisor designation (attained or willing to attain)
  • Kingdom Advisors study group participation
  • Future professional development, including continuing education and/or designations


Experience

  • 5+ years as Financial Planner/Investment Advisor or relevant experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a client-centric focus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to establish appropriate timelines and manage multiple deadlines
  • Well-developed professional, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge and proficiency of PC applications, including MS Office
  • Specific or similar experience with FinTech applications: Redtail, Schwab Advisor Center, Orion, eMoney, Income Lab, Holistiplan


Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000+ (salary + bonus, depending on experience and expertise)
