Job description

The Data Validation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of high-volume revenue data processed across Salesforce and internal data management systems. This role performs detailed data validation, quality assurance, auditing, and reconciliation activities across millions of records each month to support accurate and reliable customer payment and revenue processes.
The ideal candidate has experience working with large datasets, relational databases, and data quality processes. They are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable investigating complex data discrepancies, identifying potential risks and root causes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Success in this role requires developing a strong understanding of how revenue data moves through multiple systems and downstream payment processes, while independently identifying discrepancies and ensuring data is accurate, complete, and properly processed. The Data Validation Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening data quality controls and improving the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of Buyers Edge Platform's revenue and customer payment processes.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot data issues, identify potential root causes, and coordinate resolution prior to customer payment processing.
  • Partner with the Customer Payments team to research and resolve data or payment discrepancies identified during audit processes.
  • Load and manage data files within Data Manager as needed to support ongoing MAP Revenue processing.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve data validation and audit processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including how revenue data moves between source files, internal systems, Salesforce, and downstream payment processes.

About you:
Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Python or other scripting languages for data analysis, validation, or automation.
  • Experience mining large datasets to identify data quality issues, anomalies, or trends.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or improving data audit and validation processes.
  • Experience working in a high-volume data processing, financial operations, revenue operations, payments, or data analytics environment.
