Job description

Why Work With TRC Talent Solutions?
Forget the resume black hole. We are partnered directly with the Director of BI and Analytics for this search. Our process is transparent and urgent: we conduct a mandatory video pre-screen, and if you are a fit, your profile goes straight to the hiring managers. No waiting weeks for feedback.

The Client & The Impact
Our client is a highly stable, industry-leading healthcare system looking to grow their core Data & Analytics team (8 ETL Developers, 6 Analytics Developers). This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity offering the stability of healthcare combined with cutting-edge technical challenges. You won't just be moving data; you will be building the semantic layers and data models that power the organization's new internal AI, LLMs, and chatbots.

The Roles (2 Openings)
We are hiring for two distinct profiles at the Senior or Architect level:

Profile 1 (Epic Focus): Heavy experience navigating Epic systems (not just flat files). You understand Epic data workflows, Clarity, Caboodle, and application models.

Profile 2 (AI/Data Focus): Heavy focus on Snowflake, dbt, and creating semantic layers/models for AI, agentic models, and chatbots.

First 30-60 Days:

30 Days: Grasp the high-level tech stack (Snowflake, dbt, AWS), integrate with the team, and understand your primary assigned project.

60 Days: Begin active architectural design or development on your main project, while seamlessly juggling smaller enhancements, ticketing, and team presentations.

Core Requirements:

Experience: 8-10+ years in ETL Architecture/Development (Senior-level candidates with strong trajectory will be considered).

Tech Stack: Strong preference for Snowflake and dbt. Open to SSIS, Databricks, or Fabric if you have the aptitude to learn Snowflake quickly. Environment is AWS.

Epic Profile Requirement: Must have hands-on experience navigating the Epic system itself, not just receiving third-party flat files. Certifications in Clarity or Caboodle are a massive plus.

AI/Data Profile Requirement: Proven ability to build data models and semantic layers that business stakeholders can "talk to" via dashboards or LLMs.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Work Ethic & Communication: Impeccable communication skills are required to interface with business stakeholders. Must be dedicated to a single, full-time role (no side consulting or concurrent employment). We are looking for long-term retention, not job-hoppers.
