Position Overview

On Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. As a licensed therapist, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to clients across the Gresham, Oregon area and beyond, all from the comfort of your home through our telehealth platform. This full-time position offers a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions through telehealth to help clients develop coping strategies for their mental health challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to provide effective treatment tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of patient interactions and progress to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • A valid and active license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice therapy in Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy services, particularly to adult populations.
  • A proven ability in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Strong writing skills for accurate session documentation and treatment planning.
  • A clear disciplinary record with no sanctions from licensing boards in any jurisdiction.
Preferred Experience
