Job Description

The Patient Centricity Patient Insights & Solutions (PInS) Fellow will report to a Director (or above) within the Patient Centricity team and support the planning and execution of cross-functional projects.

This role involves working closely with teams across Medical & Development, Commercial, Regulatory, Rx+, DigitalX, and other departments. The Fellow will apply scientific, technical, and patient-focused insights to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes.

The PInS group focuses on patient-driven solutions using real-world data, behavioral science, and digital technologies to better understand patient experiences and healthcare journeys.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather patient and caregiver insights using primary and secondary research
  • Develop a strong understanding of patient journeys and stakeholder perspectives
  • Collaborate with Digital Health/Rx+ teams to leverage new technologies (e.g., wearables)
  • Partner with Behavioral Science teams to integrate patient and practitioner perspectives
  • Align patient input with project goals across global teams
  • Support development of protocols and outcomes aligned with patient expectations

Qualifications (Required)

  • PharmD, PhD, or MD (mandatory – no master’s-only candidates)
  • 0–1 years of industry experience (recent graduates preferred)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Research Methods
    • Epidemiology
    • Health Policy / Healthcare Systems
  • Ability to apply scientific research and business knowledge to projects
  • Strong medical writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Understanding of healthcare environment and compliance standards

Preferred

  • PhD or PharmD in health sciences discipline
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical or patient-centered research
