As a mental health therapist at Creekview Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ unique backgrounds and mental health needs.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Providing therapeutic interventions through various methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Setting therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and regularly evaluating their progress through sessions.
• Offering teletherapy options to accommodate clients who may have accessibility challenges or prefer virtual consultations.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

You will primarily serve adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various psychological disorders. Our clients seek a nurturing therapeutic relationship, where they can feel safe to explore their emotions and challenges. As a therapist, your empathetic approach will be critical in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory, while a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental attitude that encourages clients to engage fully in their treatment.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads efficiently while ensuring timely client documentation.

While not required, extensive experience in mental health counseling, particularly in modalities suited for trauma-informed care, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms also enhances your candidacy, as we aim to provide seamless virtual services to our clients.
