The Detox Center operates under a trauma-informed care model, ensuring our employees are equipped with the latest strategies in evidence-based practices while receiving ongoing support. You will collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive care.

• Engage in regular professional development to stay abreast of best practices and innovative interventions within the behavioral health landscape.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions via virtual platforms, utilizing techniques that address an array of behavioral health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma reactions, and challenges with executive functioning.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and aspirations of each client, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff, to provide holistic care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Diligently document client progress and treatment outcomes to support ongoing assessment and refinement of therapeutic approaches.

Your work will primarily focus on young individuals, including teenagers and young adults, who are navigating various mental health challenges. Understanding the unique stressors faced by this demographic, including peer pressure, identity issues, and transitional life stages, will be essential in developing rapport and effective therapeutic strategies.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients patiently.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills that foster collaborative teamwork.
• A deep commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with trends and techniques in the field.

• Experience providing therapy to adolescents and young adults, particularly within remote service delivery.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, or trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience working within a detox or addiction treatment center is a plus.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
