• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments for a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that empower clients to cultivate resilience, improve coping strategies, and enhance overall mental health.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions, providing supportive and constructive feedback to guide clients through their therapeutic journey.
• Design and execute crisis management strategies and wellness plans, focusing on sustainability and long-term recovery, including risk assessment, safety planning, and relapse prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes, utilizing our electronic health record system to coordinate care efficiently.

Your role will involve working with clients who present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and coping with life transitions. We appreciate a collaborative approach, thus encouraging teamwork among therapists to share insights and techniques for addressing the unique needs of each clientele.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is essential.
• A current license to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Virginia is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds are vital traits for success in this role.
• The capacity to handle a caseload representing a variety of challenges and to be adaptable to client needs is important.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention strategies is highly valued.
