This position offers the unique opportunity to work fully remotely, connecting with clients through secure digital platforms during standard business hours. Our work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing ample time for client care and personal development. • Conduct confidential virtual therapy sessions with clients facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based strategies to promote healing.
• Facilitate skill-building exercises and provide psychoeducation to empower clients in understanding their mental health.
• Document client progress accurately and timely in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health resources and community programs available for client referrals when necessary.

Our client population ranges from young adults to seniors, with many individuals experiencing situational stressors, chronic mental health conditions, or the impacts of trauma. As a therapist with Sharing Light Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting diverse communities, addressing their unique cultural, social, and psychological needs, and fostering resilience.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Proficient in conducting remote therapy sessions via digital platforms such as Zoom or similar telehealth services, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Strong knowledge in evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support an effective client approach.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in providing counseling or therapy services.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and the use of digital health technologies.
